THE GUM BALL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL RETURNS 24th-26th APRIL 2026 ‘As far as Australian festivals go, you’d be hard pressed to find anything that compares to The Gum Ball.’
Running across three glorious nights, 24th, 25th & 26th April 2026, with the additional special prelude warm up concert on Thursday 23rd April, The Gum Ball is held on the majestic bushlands of Dashville (Wonnarua) Lower Belford, Hunter Valley, NSW.

It’s a remarkable achievement, not only to be considered one of the best laid-back festivals in existence, but for this little grass roots ‘bush party’, that kicked off on mum and dads front yard in 2005, to grow to become a bonafide cultural institution for the region, as a hub for musical inspiration and community, creating an awesome platform for artist and audience development, for all those who have contributed to where we have landed, we are incredibly grateful.

SUB-TRIBE leave no groove base unturned. Bringing a fresh and distinctive approach to bass and reggae culture, their high-energy live performances and feel-good vibes consistently leave crowds skanking for more.

Their musical journey kicked off in 2017, supporting NZ legends Salmonella Dub on their East Coast tour of Australia. Since then, SUB-TRIBE have honed their sound, releasing music and performing at festivals and venues across Australasia - carving out what’s now described as “unprecedented dub-fusion.”

SUB-TRIBE have since graced major stages including WOMADelaide, Good Love Festival, and headlined QLD favourites Kuranda Roots and Island Vibes.
